Publications

Brandee created Greener Gardens in an effort to make gardeners more aware of the simple steps they can take to support wildlife and to garden sustainably, whether they live in a suburban housing development or on a 3-acre farm. She also shares her expertise as a freelance writer with a focus on gardening, sustainable living and sustainable business practices. Brandee has more than a decade of experience writing and editing for magazines, newspapers, online publications and businesses. She has been published in The American Gardener, Hunker, Carolina Gardener, Durham Magazine and newspapers in the Triangle and the Triad. She also writes about history, travel, parenting and education.
